The timber name is not the complete specification
Ask about timber used in frames, legs, doors and internal parts, and whether other components use board, veneer or agreed alternative materials. Beech in one part does not mean every component uses it. Request clear descriptions rather than a general phrase such as ‘excellent wood’.
Drying is part of quality control
Suitable dry timber and correct storage support consistent production, but quality also depends on design, joints, finishes and use. A photograph cannot establish moisture content. If your order requires a technical standard, include it in the specifications and clarify verification.
