Define the product clearly
List designs, quantities, dimensions, materials, finish, fabric and accessories. Link the list to approved photographs or samples and specify how changes are approved. ‘The same as the photo’ may not settle internal construction, colour or dimensions, so a written reference is also needed.
Define the agreement stages
Discuss timing, payment, quotation validity and responsibility for sample approval and inspection. There is no assumed standard deposit or payment sequence; agree on terms for the specific order. For phased supply, specify each batch and its review before collection or shipping.
Define post-production responsibilities
Clarify shipping, packaging, installation, warranty, recording observations and the contact responsible for resolution. For overseas orders, the freight specialist and importer should review actual destination requirements. Seek appropriate professional help for legal wording or specific international arrangements before signing.
