Wooden Furniture Manufacturing Stages: Following Your Order
Knowing production stages helps you ask the right questions at the right time. The sequence varies by product, but specifications, component preparation, assembly, finishing and checks are core stages in following a wooden furniture order.

Before cutting and assembly
Begin with approved dimensions, design and materials. Specify which parts will be dismantled for transport and which arrive assembled. For trade orders, one approved model version reduces batch differences. Review the reference photo alongside drawings and dimensions, as each answers different questions.
During assembly and finishing
Request photos of important frame and construction details before upholstery or finishing hides them. Discuss colour, gloss, carving and decoration where applicable. Progress photos support review but do not replace written acceptance criteria or physical inspection when the project warrants it.
Before approving delivery
Review furniture lists, quantities, dimensions, door and drawer functions and visible upholstery. Agree how observations are resolved before packaging or through a clear process. This defines ‘ready for delivery’ and avoids confusing completed production with arrival at the destination.
